Working launch control
Owner: Megan Fazzio
Launch support: Ike Fazzio
Updated: August 25, 2026
The launch objective
Put Crewline in front of cleaning and field-service business owners through two distinct routes:
- Trusted affiliate partners who can introduce Crewline to an existing audience.
- Direct, researched outreach to qualified cleaning-business owners.
Both routes use the interactive product demo as the central proof asset. The positioning spine is:
Crewline gives owners confidence that every job got done right, even when they couldn’t be there.
The demo proves that promise through Sweep, geofencing, and AI photo quality review.

Channel 2: Direct outreach to business owners
Who this channel targets
Residential, commercial, and mixed cleaning companies showing signs of operational complexity, especially:
- Multiple crews or providers
- Recurring customer work
- Active hiring
- Commercial or multi-location accounts
- Scheduling and dispatch complexity
- Visible quality-control needs
- Bilingual crews
Recommended operating model
Use an agent-operated active CRM with direct Workspace email for first contact. Do not use Klaviyo for unsolicited outreach.
Klaviyo’s current Acceptable Use Policy prohibits unsolicited messaging, including publicly available contacts that have not consented. Klaviyo belongs downstream for people who explicitly request information, start a trial, sign up, or otherwise consent.
Applications and platforms
- Google Sheets: the initial active CRM and canonical prospect record.
- Google Places API: mandatory discovery source for Google Business Profiles and Google Maps. No market is complete without a Places pass.
- Research Agent: builds and validates state-by-state prospect coverage across Places, broader web search, business registries, social profiles, hiring surfaces, and commercial directories.
- CRM/outreach agent: creates the daily queue, drafts personalized messages, records every touch, handles follow-up timing, and maintains suppression state.
- Google Workspace Gmail: sends low-volume, individually personalized outreach from
Nora <nora@crewlineops.com>. - Crewline interactive demo: primary proof and call to action.
- Klaviyo: permission-based nurture only after explicit consent.
- Email verification provider: must be selected before sending at scale. No unverified address enters the send queue.
Canonical workbook
Current research status:
- North Carolina holds 454 validated records but is provisional pending a Google Places second pass. Asheville is the only city currently defensible under the original full-depth protocol.
- Georgia holds 223 validated records and is reopened after Mr. Perfect Services exposed a false negative in the city-and-directory discovery method.
- The revised protocol requires Google Maps/Business Profile discovery through the official Places API, full-metro geography, broader B2B vocabulary, and negative-control tests.
- Later states remain on hold until the revised method is proven.
Sender and identity
- Public sender:
Nora <nora@crewlineops.com>. - Nora is a virtual assistant and must not be presented as a human employee.
- Crewline SPF, DKIM, and DMARC pass.
- Incoming replies route to the Rye Creek Labs Workspace mailbox.
- If a founder-facing sender is later chosen, the CRM agent can continue operating the queue and reply triage behind that sender.
Active CRM stages
- Researched
- Needs validation
- Email verified
- Ready for review
- Approved to contact
- First message sent
- Follow-up 1 due
- Follow-up 2 due

Every record should hold:
- Company and location
- Contact name and role, when public
- Verified email and verification date
- Website, phone, and source evidence
- Qualification and fit signals
- Personalization note
- Outreach status
- Last touch and next action
- Reply summary
- Demo engagement
- Trial and paid status
- Opt-out or suppression state
Direct outreach flow
- Research Agent completes and persists one bounded state or city batch.
- Deduplicate by normalized domain, phone, and business identity.
- Verify every intended email address before it reaches the send queue.
- CRM agent selects a small daily cohort by fit and state.
- CRM agent drafts a plain-text message using one real business-specific detail.
- Human review remains active for the opening pilot.
- Send through the authenticated Crewline mailbox at a gradual daily volume.
- Include one clear interactive-demo link and one call to action.
- Avoid attachments, image-heavy templates, shortened links, and unnecessary tracking links.
- Record the send and next follow-up date immediately.
- Stop sequencing on any reply, opt-out, bounce, or disqualifying signal.
- Limit the sequence to the initial message plus no more than two follow-ups.
- Route explicit opt-ins, demo requests, and trial users into the permission-based nurture lane.
- Review results before increasing volume or entering the next state.
Deliverability and compliance guardrails
- Use honest sender and subject information.
- Include a valid business postal address and a clear opt-out method.
- Maintain one permanent suppression list.
- Honor opt-outs promptly.
- Keep messages relevant, personal, and low volume.
- Monitor bounce and spam-complaint behavior before scaling.
- Pause the sequence if list quality or sender reputation deteriorates.
- Do not upload cold research contacts into Klaviyo.
Direct outreach success measures
- Verified contacts available
- Messages sent
- Delivery and bounce rate
- Replies
- Positive replies
- Demo views or requests
- Trials
- Paid accounts
- Time from first touch to trial
- State-level conversion
- Customer acquisition cost
- Retained revenue
Channel 3: Permission-based nurture
Klaviyo becomes useful only after consent. Appropriate entry events include:
- Affiliate or business owner requests more information
- Demo request form with consent
- Trial signup
- Newsletter or product-update signup
- Customer onboarding
Klaviyo should then handle:
- Requested demo follow-up
- Trial education
- Onboarding reminders
- Product updates
- Customer education
- Re-engagement where consent remains valid
A demo click alone is not consent to add a cold prospect to a marketing list.
Channel 4: External commission sales, later
Researched options
- CommissionCrowd: marketplace connecting companies with independent commission-only representatives. Current self-service plans include an annual or monthly platform cost plus a platform commission on closed business. The representative’s commission is additional.
- RepHunter: marketplace for independent sales representatives. Current entry pricing begins with a first-month fee and continuing monthly subscription.
- Glencoco: performance-oriented SDR and qualified-meeting model. Its current fit criteria favor businesses already above $1 million in annualized revenue with proven product-market fit, so it is not a launch-stage Crewline option.
Launch judgment
Generic commission-only representatives are unlikely to prioritize a low monthly contract unless Crewline can provide meaningful upfront economics, a higher-value annual package, or a repeatable way to sell many accounts.
The stronger early commission route is industry-specific channel partners who already serve many cleaning businesses, including coaches, consultants, distributors, bookkeepers, payroll providers, insurance brokers, and operations specialists.
Revisit external sales after Crewline can show:
- A proven close rate
- Known customer acquisition cost
- Stable onboarding
- Early retention
- Clear commission economics
- A repeatable demo and objection-handling process
Shared launch assets
- Interactive demo script with Ike’s additive revisions
- Peace-of-mind motion concept
- Affiliate-program page: pending
- Final interactive demo URL: pending
- Approved affiliate outreach copy: staged, pending final page and authorization
- Approved direct-owner outreach copy: pending
Website wrap-up
The website is the destination every channel points to. Affiliate Dub links, direct-owner emails, and the demo all terminate here. These five items must be complete before outreach is authorized, because sending traffic to an unfinished page spends the introduction and returns nothing.
1. Demo video on the site
- Upload the approved demo video to the Crewline YouTube channel.
- Set the video to unlisted or public based on how it will be shared, and confirm the title, description, and thumbnail carry the positioning spine.
- Embed the YouTube video in Lovable as a new section placed directly beneath the hero section on the home page.
- Confirm the embed loads on mobile and does not push the primary call to action below the fold.
2. Reviews from Happy Customers
- Build a new section on the home page titled Reviews from Happy Customers, positioned directly above the pricing section.
- Use only real, attributable reviews. Placeholder or composite testimonials undermine the same trust the product is selling.
- Decide the minimum viable count before launch, and if real reviews are thin, collect them from current users before the section goes live.
3. Blog and first post
- Stand up a blog on the Crewline website with a clean index and individual post pages.
- Publish the first post: How to Prospect for New Business Using AI.
- Point the post at cleaning and field-service owners who are trying to grow, so it earns organic search traffic from the same people the direct outreach targets.
- Include a natural path from the post to the demo and to pricing.
4. Google Analytics
- Create or confirm the Crewline GA4 property.
- Install the measurement tag in Lovable and verify live traffic in real-time reporting.
- Mark the events that matter: demo video play, demo link click, pricing view, trial start, and contact or demo request.
- Confirm data is flowing before any outreach is sent. Analytics installed after the first send loses the baseline permanently.
5. UTM tracking for outreach
Every outbound link must answer one question on arrival: which channel produced this visit. Without UTMs, outreach performance and organic traffic collapse into one undifferentiated number.
| Parameter | Purpose | Example values |
|---|---|---|
utm_source |
Where the click originated | affiliate, direct-email, youtube, skool, instagram |
utm_medium |
The mechanism of delivery | email, dm, social, referral |
utm_campaign |
The specific push | launch-affiliate-wave-1, owner-outreach-nc, owner-outreach-ga |
utm_content |
Which variant or placement | demo-cta, signature-link, followup-2 |
- Build a single canonical UTM library so every agent and every message uses identical spelling and casing. Inconsistent tags fragment the report and hide the signal.
- Affiliate links already run through Dub for click tracking. Set the UTM parameters on the Dub destination URL so Dub reports the click and Google Analytics reports the resulting site behavior.
- Direct-owner emails use plain destination links with UTMs rather than shortened links, which protects deliverability while preserving attribution.
- Confirm in Google Analytics that the tagged traffic appears correctly before the first real send.
Website readiness gate
- Demo video is live on YouTube and embedded beneath the hero.
- Reviews section is live above pricing with real reviews.
- Blog is live with the first post published.
- Google Analytics is installed, verified, and recording key events.
- UTM library is defined, applied to affiliate and direct-owner links, and confirmed in reporting.
